Exterior Refresh

I helped a couple change the exterior of their home to reflect them and their young family. They wanted a mid-century vibe and weren't afraid of color! They worked on the landscaping and the walkway while I was designing the exterior look of their home.

House colors

The house looks decades younger with a fresh and fun exterior paint color, a new roof, and a coordinating color for the gutters and downspouts. The shutters were removed from the windows and the house numbers relocated to the new fence.

Walkway to front door

The entry was updated with a fun color for the doors, a new light fixture, and an updated mailbox. The owners installed pavers for a new walkway and created different areas in the garden for planting.

Front porch

A concrete patio was poured behind the new fence. Useful for relaxing in the shade, but also convenient to hide the kids' bikes and packages being delivered. Shoe storage was built into the back of the fence so footware wouldn't be piled by the door.
